New-generation Japanese pianist Masaya Kamei performs in Sydney for the first time at Sydney Town Hall as the night event of JAPAN EXPO, the ultimate Japanese event in Australia.


Masaya Kamei was brought to worldwide attention in 2022 at the Long-Thibaud International 

Masaya Kamei, born in Aichi, Japan, in 2001, gained international recognition in 2022, winning top prizes at the Long-Thibaud International Competition. He has performed with major orchestras like the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, NHK Symphony, and Yomiuri Nippon Symphony. Kamei has appeared at prestigious festivals and tours internationally. He currently studies with Momo Kodama at the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe.
