Q & A
Aoi Hidaka
Question to Aoi-san from the first presentation (if time permits at the end): How many days do you recommend in Takachiho in Miyazaki? And for 2nd or 3rd+ time visitors to Japan from Australia, who have already been to cities like Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and Nara, etc what other small, hidden gems in addition to Takachiho do you suggest they add to their next itinerary in Japan?
A:
Thank you for your question!
I recommend staying in Takachiho for at least two nights. While Takachiho Gorge and the areas related to the Amano-iwato myth are only about a 12-minute drive apart. I do not want to make travelers rush through Takachiho Journey in a day trip or one night:) Our partner are also providing outdoor activities like E-bike tour, Packrafting so please consider at least 2-nights for enjoying Takaciho fully:>⇒https://takachiho-ata.org/activity/
Another hidden gems: I would recommend the Tohoku region (of course, I hope you choose Kyushu again!). You can take the Shinkansen from here to Sendai in just 1.5 hours using the JAPAN RAIL PASS. They have local guides ready to take you on bar-hopping tours and other activities. I hope you'll enjoy exploring Tohoku to the fullest. Tae Kawagoe
Q:n your opinion, are young Japanese people showing an interest in, and carrying on, wonderful traditions like these (and tea ceremony and calligraphy, etc)? Do different regions in Japan have quite different flowers?
A: answers in the video
Ryo Roche
Qn to Ryo: Will there be samples of your tea and/or chablets at the Japan expo (or how can we try the different flavors most easily from Australia)? Also, do you recommend any Japanese sweets or specific food to pair with your green teas for an overall authentic ocha experience?
A: answers in the video
Arigato Ryo san for your great presentation,I've always noticed that Japan has amasing crafty products that the world doesn't know and more importantly Japanese businesses don't know how to sell it. so is there a current partnership program in your business plan for international partners?
